Error Message while trying to connect to Jetpack

    I am getting following error message while trying to connect my WordPress installation with Jetpack:

    The required “siteurl” parameter is invalid.

    What does that mean? My URL for the blog is http://www.bärnergiele.ch

    Could you go to Settings > General in your dashboard, and make sure your site address and WordPress address both use http://www.xn--brnergiele-q5a.ch/ as the URL, and not http://www.bärnergiele.ch. WordPress doesn’t handle accented characters in URLs very well in general, so it’s recommended to use the Punycode version of your domain instead.
