error message with latest update

Hi. I’ve been using SLD for a couple months and it has been working well. Since this update about 7 days ago (Updated plugin “Simple Link Directory – Lite” to version 4.4.0 from 4.3.0) I started encountering an error message.

TPL_URL already defined in /hermes/walnaweb02a/b1013/moo.reggaereflectioncom/reggaereflection.com/media/wp-content/plugins/simple-link-directory/qc-op-directory-shortcodes.php on line 5

It affects the creation of a new blog post This appears in the middle of the blank blog post page – Thank you for creating with WordPress.

I’m running WP 4.9.6 using the Theme Grill Color Theme 1.2.9 (latest version)

I have had to deactivate the plug in. Is there an solution for this issue? Please let me know if more information is needed. Thanks!

Hi,

We just started a holiday here so we will need a few days to thoroughly investigate the issue. In the meantime:
1. You can go back to 4.2.0 or any other older version from:
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/simple-link-directory/advanced/

Scroll down to the bottom and select a PREVIOUS VERSION from the drop down. Download the zip file. Delete the current version from the plugin management page and install the older version. See if that helps. If not, it is probably something else.

2. Let us know the PHP version on your server.

Thanks. I rolled back to 4.2.0 for now as suggested and it resolved the issue. (I noticed that sometime earlier this morning it automatically updated to 4.5 which still has the issue).

The version of php is 7.0
