- Could you please go to your site’s Dashboard -> Plugins -> Installed Plugins -> and check that you have the latest version of the Profile Builder plugin (version 3.9.3)?
- Could you please go to your site’s Dashboard -> Profile Builder -> Form Fields -> click on the “Edit” button that’s next to the Input field you have this issue with -> and send a full screenshot from there? Please make sure that all the settings from that Input field can be seen.
- To what error message are you referring to? Could you please provide the error message you expect to receive?

Yes, the version is 3.9.3.
In the “edit profile” page, the mandatory email field does not show the error field, just the focus.

It seems that the notice/error message (from the browser) doesn’t appear on long forms. If you have a shorter form then that notice message from the browser will appear.
I’ve also created a task about this so that we can investigate this behavior in more detail. Unfortunately, at the moment I can’t give an estimated time for when this behavior will be changed.
