Error messages not displaying correctly

Primarily on the checkout screen, when clicking the “Proceed to Paypal” button and with errors, the screen flashes white a little where it’s trying to do it’s AJAXy thing, and tops. The error message gets displayed at the top, but you wouldn’t know it, unless you scroll up.
In a normal install, the screen scrolls up to the error box. I’d really like to achieve this.
I removed CSS styling from within my functions, but even when on it doesn’t work properly.
Plus, I’d imagine it’s solely a JS thing anyways. I have no errors in my console. Any input would be awesome!
