• I’ve been trying to login to WordPress through Bluehost. I’ve never had an issue until the last two days. Bluehost logs in fine, but when I try to login to WordPress, it simply takes me to a white screen that says ‘Error: Not Authenticated’. It doesn’t matter which computer I’m on. My Bluehost site says all my plugins are up to date. I searched the Forum but only found one possible solution that didn’t pan out (disabling Google Analytics for WordPress through the Admin page on Bluehost). I deleted my cookies and browser history and that didn’t help.

I know there are probably other things I haven’t tried such as uninstalling and reinstalling WordPress, but am at a loss as to how to do that anyway. If anyone has any ideas to help me out then I would appreciate it. I’m not super tech savvy so ‘WordPress For Dummies’ language please lol

Or is this a problem with my host?

  • It happens to me before. I think it is because one of the plugin you installed is corrupt. Try to deactivate all the plugins and see if the error still pop up.

@serralee, that worked. Amusingly, I was struggling with how to rename the folder to deactivate the plugins *Facepalm*. A google search revealed what I was struggling with lol now I’m accessing it again. Thanks.

    Hello,

If it can help someone i had the same message, i could login to wordpress admin but couldn’t access to my picture library (like there was no image there) or update a plugin, this was caused by the plugin WP-Chatbot (i was not authenticated on fb messenger), when i deactivated it, no more message and website worked fine again.
