Does this happen on every shortcode?
I have the same error here!
“Error occured during query. Maybe your website doesn’t allow outgoing connections?”
This error happen in all shortcodes.
This is the example I’m using:
[wowpi_character name="Demmum" show="kills,gear,artifact_weapon,talents"]
Same error here.

I had this error message as well. Possibly its due to your server name. I had to enter Mal’Ganis as mal%27ganis to get anything to load, although images are still not working for me.
Nope, shouldn’t be due to server’s name as it doesn’t contain any strange characters. Plain Draenor.

Most errors like these are simply due to the fact that usually the hosting companies do not allow outside connections.

Which domain should I allow on remote connections?
As you can see on my website (right column), it works. You can contact me on google hangout and we can try together to make it work (if it depends on me and not on your hosting provider). My username on hangouts is [email protected]
