Hello @blupause360
It seems like the plugin hasn’t be installed correctly. Could you try downloading it from this link: https://downloads.wp.xz.cn/plugin/smart-image-resize.1.1.9.zip, then install it manually under Plugins > Add new > Upload plugin.
Let me know if that doesn’t work for you. I’ll be happy to help
Issue found after analisis. Class Settings with the same name on another plugin.
@blupause360 I’m having an issue also with the plugin on a localhost install using Local By Flywheel. Although, even if I deactivate and only activate this plugin I get the error…

Thanks

Once again if you didn’t see… This happens even if there are no other plugins active. Could it be PHP version related?
Hello @wyohost
The plugin is compatible with your PHP version.
To see the original error message, I’d suggest enabling debug mode in wp-config.php by setting define('WP_DEBUG', true);
Where should I sent the log file? It has quite a few lines in it.
Hello @wyohost
Please send it to [email protected]
Thanks!
Hello @wyohost
Thank you for the logs.
The PHP Fileinfo extension isn’t enabled on your server. It’s required by the plugin to work properly. Once it’s enabled the error message will disappear automatically.
Let me know if that helped.
Best,
Nabil
Any idea on how to enable it on a localhost?
I’m using LocalByFlywheel
