    Hello there!
Hope all is good wit you!

I get this error when I go Pages and click on a page to edited:

The qTranslate Editor has disabled itself because it hasn’t been tested with your WordPress version yet. This is done to prevent WordPress from malfunctioning. You can reenable it by clicking here (may cause data loss! Use at own risk!). To remove this message permanently, please update qTranslate to the corresponding version.

When click on the reenable link, the Title show up but the content does not translate … then is disabled itself again.

When click on the “corresponding version” it just takes me back to the plugin website that says, “Not ready yet, but you can try the development version” I tried the development version and I get the same error.

    What do I do??

    thank you for you support,
    Christine

  • Others have had this issue. Your going to have to go into the plugins file qtranslate/qtranslate.php and change the line where it says define(‘QT_SUPPORTED_WP_VERSION’, ‘3.8.1’); to be whatever version of wp you are using. There is a much longer discussion of this issue here
