    Hi,

I have a donation form where I created the payment feed the same way I have done on other websites, but I do get an error after submitting the form (see screenshot).

    I have checked the following:

    • API for live and test payment feed are correct
    • iDEAL payment method is active (see status in both payment feeds)
    • no hidden fields in the form

I don’t see anything out of the ordinary here that is different from other payment connections to Mollie.

In the system status report of GF I did see one red flag on background tasks, which could play a role here. I did submit a support ticket to Gravity Forms support, but the report back that the error doen’t come from the form itself.

Please let me know what I can do to solve this issue. Thanks!

    Best regards,
    Gert-Jan Buth

Which error message are you seeing? I don’t see a screenshot.

Hi Reüel, you can find the screenshot with this link. The first line in Dutch says ‘Something went wrong with the payment. Try again or pay another way.’).

For the moment the form has been hidden; we don’t expect many donations with this form, so, we don’t want to spend too much time solving this issue. I created a hidden copy of that page for you with the form visible again: https://www.lcjactie.nl/doneren-test/.

Thank you. Do you want to accept payments in Euro? If so, changing the currency setting in WordPress admin → Forms → Settings to Euro will probably resolve this issue.

Thanks! At least I know what causes the issue. But after changing this setting and refreshing the settings page, this setting jumps back to American dollar. Is there a way to overrule this wrong setting manually? For example with a filter in functions.php?

I did find this filter: https://docs.gravityforms.com/gform_currency/; can I use this and replace USD with EUR to prevent the setting from jumping back to USD? I would prefer to fix it in a regular way, but if this works, it works.

That’s indeed strange that changing the currency doesn’t stick. For issues like this, it’s best to contact the Gravity Forms developers via gravityforms.com/help. Your temporary workaround using the gform_currency filter sounds like a good plan until the issue is fixed on their side.

Hi Reüel, the funny thing is that I already contacted GF support and they referred me to the plugin author ;). But I’ll reopen that ticket if possible or open a new ticket and provide a link to this help topic.
