Error on installation

    Getting this error when attempting to Install WordPress in the usual way at

    http://www.domain.com/wp-admin/install.php:

    You are getting a white page due to this error:
    [Tue Apr 19 10:27:01 2011] [error] [client 94.236.7.190] PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /var/www/vhosts/domain.com/httpdocs/wp-admin/includes/file.php on line 444

    I’ve installed WordPress main times before and have also done some installs using 3.1.1 on exactly the same server.

    This is a new problem and I’m not sure what to do to fix it.

    Any suggestions?
