Error on posts

Just downloaded WPTouch and have immediately run into error-land.
Set up with all the defaults, added a WPTouch menu, turned off the slider (as I don’t have one) – however this last setting removed the whole header.
Anyway, on persevering, the new mobile version looks ok – then clicked on a menu item to take me to some subcategories – pictures disappeared. So its getting progressively worse.
Then clicked on an item, and the whole shebang was a huge error message.
Some things never change, do they?
So what’s the crack, then?
