I chose the product and added it to the cart. Then I reached the page where the data is entered and pressed Request a quote. The emails are sent (to the customer and the admin), but an error appears at the top of the page and it doesn’t go to the summary screen.
I can’t debug this behavior but by disabling the plugin and configuring a “bank transfer” payment method, everything works correctly

    Hi @wizard699,

Thank you for using Quotes for WooCommerce and I apologize for the issue you are facing. I understand that the issue occurs with the below setup:

    1. Install WooCommerce and Quotes for WooCommerce
    2. Do not enable any payment gateways
    3. Enable quotes for all products.
    4. Add products to the cart and try to checkout.
    5. Emails are sent, but the Order summary/Thank you page is not loaded.

The issue is fixed when any one payment gateway is enabled.

I will look into this and get back to you with an update.

    Thanks,

    Pinal

Thanks a lot for the response.

The steps are exactly those. But I just tried to install the PayPal gateway, without configuring it, but the error still comes out

    Hi @wizard699,

First off I’d like to thank you for the 5-star rating and the kind words. Your feedback not only helps us improve but also helps other store owners make informed decisions.

Regarding the issue, I have tried replicating the issue on a fresh installation with HPOS and blocks, with and without shipping, as a logged-in user as well as a guest user but no errors are being logged and the Order Received page is loaded fine as well.

I’ve even tried replicating it on an existing legacy Checkout store by turning off all the payment methods, but no errors are being logged so far.

I have noted this issue at our end and we will check if something in our code can be improved further to avoid this. But if there’s anything else that you can think of to add here to the setup, please do let me know.

I’ll leave this ticket open for some more days and will let you know if there’s an update.

Hope you enjoy using the plugin!

    Regards,

    Pinal

    Ok no problem.

Today I will do a new installation of wordpress, woocommerce and the plugin. And I’ll do a test right away. Let’s hope so, maybe something got “dirty” in the installation I did a few days ago. And it will then give you feedback. Thank you

That would be really helpful. It might help to keep WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG true to help log any errors that occur.

That will help me identify the code causing the issue even if I’m unable to replicate it my end.

Eagerly looking forward to hearing for you.

I really appreciate you going through the trouble of running a fresh install just to help me. Thanks a lot!

    Regards,

Fixed. I had In the log this error:

headers already sent by (output started at /wp-includes/PHPMailer/SMTP.php:302)

And I’ve commented some EcHO that broken headers. And … problem fixed.

Nothing with your fantastic plug-in, but another plugin created the problem. Incident, closed.

    Hi @wizard699,

It’s great to know the issue was not caused due to the Quotes plugin 🙂

I’m marking the ticket resolved now. Please feel free to reach out for any further queries.

    Regards,

    Pinal
