Error on role change email

Hi, we are testing auto-sending an email to a customer when we change their role status.
The email works fine, but it shows the previous role not the new one.
Example: Current role is ‘One’, changing it to role ‘Two’. The outgoing email will show role ‘One’, not role ‘Two’. If we change the role again to role ‘Three’, the outgoing email will show role ‘Two’.This is the current email setup:
Good news [user_nicename]! As a valued customer, your status had been upgraded to [user_role]!Any advice will be appreciated.
