Hi,

I’m using sitemap tool in a multisite with wpml multilang configuration.

In the second site it work ok, but in the first site I’m getting this error when I visit sitemap.xml:
```
Error de lectura XML: contenido incorrecto tras un elemento XML del documento
Ubicación: https://mysite.com/sitemap.xml
Número de línea 2, columna 1:
<b>Warning</b>:  Illegal string offset 'loc' in <b>/*/wp-includes/class-wp-list-util.php</b> on line <b>154</b><br />

```
And because this Google Search Console is getting an error in sitemap submission.

Any idea of what can cause this error?

It’s a warning, not an error. Turn off debug mode on your live site: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/#wp_debug

Hello @hallsofmontezuma that was the first thing I checked before post here and the debug mode is set false. I have added the WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY to false and still getting the warning.

Maybe it’s a conflict with another plugin, do you have a list of incompatible plugins?

@kimso we do not maintain a list as plugin conflicts come & go and it would be nearly impossible to document every issue/conflict.

I’d set WP_DEBUG to false instead; if that doesn’t help, I’m guessing you might have a plugin that is turning it back on.

@arnaudbroes WP_DEBUG is set to false.
I will check if there’s a plugin that is turning WP_DEBUG back on.

Finally I used this in wp-config.php
```
ini_set('display_errors', 'Off');
ini_set('error_reporting', E_ALL );
define('WP_DEBUG', false);
define('WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false);
```
