    Hi,

    Site: http://go-reading.org

Getting an odd result when clearing the cache on any of my calendars. The cache clear functions OK but Firefox shows the following error page:

    Content Encoding Error
The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because it uses an invalid or unsupported form of compression.
Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

I tried the same operation in IE11, and it appears that the file ‘edit.php’ is downloaded at that point, which seems very odd (and is presumably connected to Firefox objecting to the page).

I have recently upgraded to PHP V7 for all my sites, which may be connected – and the site is part of a two site multi-site.

    Anyone else seen this?

    TIA,

    David.

OK, had forgotten that I had the WP gzip compression plugin activated. Deactivated this and the error went away. So an interesting problem but far from critical.
