Hi. I’ve been trying to install the plugin on a wordpress with php 8.3 for two days now and it keeps giving me an error. It says ‘Composer detected issues in your platform: Your Composer dependencies require a PHP version ’>= 8.0.0‘.’

Hi, thank you for reaching out!

The Meta pixel for WordPress does require PHP 8.1 or higher but if your site running on 8.3 that should be fine.

Can you please share which version of the plugin you are using and which version of WordPress?

Can you also verify the PHP version WordPress is running on by going to the following section in the WordPress admin: Tools → Site Health → Info → Server?

    Best,
    Marko

    Good morning,
On the server it’s 8.3 but actually in the wordpress backoffice it shows 7.4. I’m not sure what to do 🙁
The Meta Pixel version is 4.1.2.

    Thank you

    Hi,

If you want to use PHP 8.3, as well as the plugin, it would be best to update your site’s PHP version.

You can check out this guide to learn more on how to update the PHP, note that you may need to reach out to your hosting provider to make the update.

Once the PHP version is updated, you should be able to install and use the plugin without any issues.

    Kind regards,
    Marija
