I mentioned this here: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/php-warning-illegal-string-offset-please-fix/
I also sent in an “official” support ticket. They seem to be aware, but also don’t seem to care.
@freshyjon even i tried that. they simply mentioned to ignore it. When i asked them that this increases the log lines to read everyday they still said to ignore. lol
Hi:
I am suffering from the same problem. I have emailed [email protected]. They have been good about answering me in the past….
Thanks!
@tomkirk23 did you happen to get a solution? I am a bit pissed reading these lines in my logs every day.
PHP Warning: Illegal string offset ‘custom_tracking_provider’ in /wp-content/plugins/aftership-woocommerce-tracking/api/class-aftership-api-orders.php on line 278
Hi: I am trying to push them. Unfortunately, the latest response (just a few days ago) was “We have checked with our development team and these are just normal php warnings. They will not harm your system. You can ignore them.”
To which I responded:
“Hi: No, they are not normal php messages. They point directly to problems in the php code that have remained unfixed for months. I would be happy to point your programmers to the particular section of code where the problem lies. Let me know if I can help…”
I suggest emailing the same [email protected] email account, perhaps more noise will nudge them in the right direction.
Thanks!
Also contacted them on their support. Let’s see what’ll happen.
I get the same errors. Still waiting for a solution.
