    Hi @mawill13,

I suppose you are trying to create a Config under Smush > Settings > Configs, right?

Could we know you notice the above error when you try to create a Config or when applying it?

WP JSON is part of REST API, the 404 error points there is a conflict, is there any plugin that disables Rest API on your website? or do you have any security plugin?

I gave a quick test by creating config and by applying but wasn’t able to replicate any such issue. Could you please try running a conflict test and see whether that helps in ruling out what exactly might be causing the issue?

Please check the following flow chart on how to run a conflict test:
    https://premium.wpmudev.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/Support-Process-Support-Process.gif

Please do let us know how that goes.

    Kind Regards,
    Nithin

Hope you’re having a good day!

Looks like you haven’t replied here for a bit so I’ll go ahead and will mark the ticket as resolved for now. Of course, we’re here if you have any additional questions.

    Kind regards,
