I’m creating an event and I get this error.

Your event details are incorrect and cannot be published, please correct these errors first:

Please check the consent box so we can collect and store your submitted information.

There is no consent box to check.

If I go to my event list, it’s saved as a draft and I can publish it then, but it will not show up on my Events page.

  • Hello,

The consent box should be located at the last part of the form right after the Comments.
Could try and do the following?
    1. Events > Settings > Privacy > Just Press Save.
If this does not work, can you try changing your theme to any default wordpress, there are chances that your theme is hiding the checkbox.

And what if the theme is hiding the checkbox?

Thanks for the suggestions! They helped. My theme was hiding the checkbox. I went into EM’s privacy settings and turned off the option for the checkbox and it fixed the issue.

Hi, go into Settings. On the General tab look under Privacy. For each of the forms, select “Do not include” and it should fix it.
