Hi! Thank you for writing this.
Is the problem is that the timeline-express timeline isn’t showing up on the site?
It looks like wedding-style is the theme being used on the site.
I tried installing this theme on my site with a timeline-express timeline and it worked ok. In other words I don’t think there’s a theme conflict.
I think some a good next-steps to try would be:
1. Have you tried deactivating all other plugins on the site? Once they’re all deactivated then what difference does that make? ( does the timeline then show up, or?…)
Hi!
Thank you for your answer! I have just seen that i have an update for my wedding theme but i have a question.. Before update i read : “any customatization performed to theme file will be lost”. Is this the problem of not-execute of my timeline express plugin !?
However there is a big problem for me because i have customatization my wedding theme with image icon and other file..
What can i do ?
Thank you
Jacopo
If you have made adjustments to your theme and you go to update it , all of your changes will be wiped out. This is a well known issue with WordPress, thus why users and developers alike recommend you create a child theme.
The same goes for the plugin. IF you’ve made any changes to the base code, then you’r changes will be wiped out on an update.
In regards to your issue, it looks like there is some sort of javascript error.
Can you try temporarily switching the site over to English. It looks like there is a javascript file in the Timeline Express js file. For some reason one or two of the Timeline Express translation files is causing an issue for some users in other countries. If I can find the cause of the issue I can get it resolved, but so far haven’t been able to find the issue in the translation.
Thanks,
Evan
