Read through some of the other posts and the Forum Name had a space between words. Could be the cause of the problem.

EDIT: The body of this response below was mostly written before your last response. It should validate to make sure there aren’t any spaces in the forum name, but follow the below instructions to reset things if it still is not working and then the forum name should be the name you registered at muut.com. So, muut.com/[forumname]; let me know if that doesn’t solve the issue!

Not an error we’ve seen before, but definitely can help get to the bottom of it and get things working. 🙂
Can you tell me at which point in the install process things broke? Also, If you have access to the file manager, a good first step will be to remove the Muut plugin and reset the .htaccess file in the WordPress root (just re-name it to .htaccess-bak, and that should do the trick). Let me know if you do both of those things and still cannot access the wp-admin and then we can take it from there.

Paul,
The installation and activation went fine. The error seemed to occur when I named the forum, but I’m not sure. I’m a newbie and not sure how I get access to the file manager. Can you assist with login details?
Thanks
Tom

If you don’t have FTP access to your site for managing files directly, your host should be able to reset the .htaccess for you if you ask them to. I would love to see a copy of the current (broken) one, if they were able to send a copy to you. My e-mail is paul [at] muut [dot] com. Keep me posted!
Issue has been fixed and thanks for the quick responses. It’s live and working!
