When trying to submit a refund from WooCommerce Orders, I enter the amount and click the button “Refund $xx.xx via Credit Card. I get a popup error after clicking continue on the initial popup confirmation “Are you sure you wish to process this refund? This action cannot be undone.”. About 1-2 seconds after confirming that I just get a popup saying “Error processing refund. Please try again.” No console errors, nothing in woo logs, nothing on stripe logs.

  • Hi @bowenac – This kind of problem can sometimes be caused by either a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.

The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

Can you let me know if you still see the same issue after doing this?

    Thanks!

Thanks was able to find the problem and fix it. Was a conflict with a Plugin that was creating an order items override, which was including the refunds template but it didn’t actually exist.

Thanks for letting us know, @bowenac! 😁
