error: register_uninstall_hook

    Hello. After uninstalling old version of plugin that was distributed via your website and installing and activating new one via wordpress plugin page I’ve got this error message.

    Notice: register_uninstall_hook was called incorrectly. Only a static class method or function can be used in an uninstall hook. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 3.1.0.) in /home/viewcyco/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4903

    I was trying to switch themes, deactivated and uninstall other plugins and scripts but while ‘Garden Gnome Package’ is activated I’m seeing this error message.

    Is there anything else I could do to solve the problem.

    Hi, I am having exactly the same issue ? Did you get a resolution ? Did you find a work around ?

    I activate the plugin and get he same results.

    Hello rickoz1.
    The only solution I’ve found is to turn off all WP debug options (debug itself, notifications). So problem is not resolved completely but now there’s no error messages and plugin seems to be working fine.
