Error retrieving site for caching

    Hi.

    I’ve just downloaded your plugins and they seem great – however I’m getting an error message now on my home page and I don’t know what needs to be done to fix it.

    Error retrieving https://mysite.com/ for caching (after 0.001 seconds). Additional requests to retrieve and cache this URL will be ignored for another 1800 second(s).

    Error retrieving content from https://mysite.com/.

    Any guidance on what causes this (and if possible steps to remedy) would be hugely appreciated.

    It looks like your server is unable to connect to that URL. You should contact your hosting provider and report the issue. The Query Monitor plugin may be able to provide more information on the issue.

    [update] FYI, since there’s no HTTP code mentioned in the error message, this might be an SSL certificate issue. The Query Monitor plugin should show the connection error, but in the next WPSSO Core version I will also include any SSL certificate error codes that error message.
