    Hi there

    I’m using the plugin since 2014. I do have an issue now…sometimes when people fill out the form they get the message: “Error saving data! Please try again.”
    Sometimes it works fine. What could cause the problem?

    Please, let me know the data type of the columns: “paypal_post” and “data”, belonging to the “wp_cp_calculated_fields_form_posts” table on your database.

    they are both type “text”

    Please, modify both columns to “mediumtext” with collation: “utf8mb4_unicode_520_ci”

    Let me know exactly the data you are entering into the different fields, to emulate the issue, furthermore, be sure you don’t have reached the size limits of your hosting plan.

    We ensure it’s not the size limit of the hosting.

    In my opinion it’s not the data you enter but the system/browser. The problem occurs on apple computers.

    We figured out, that it’s not about devices or browsers, but the location/wlan. I’m able to submit the form in the office but not at home. Both times connected by wlan with the same device (iphone)

    Checking the HTML source code of your web page, I see you are using a very outdated version of the plugin. Note the plugin is in constant evolution, and not only are included new features, with every update are fixed too some errors reported by users.

    Do you’ve a website for development where to install the latest version of the plugin, and test it with your form?

    I did updating the plugin. there is no further update shown in the wordpress backend.

    I already figured out problems to export and import the form to the paid version. The import is not possible. I have to reconfigure the whole form.

    I have the free version 5.0.42 installed.

    The versions numbers for the free distributions of the plugin being with 1.0.X, and do not include the submit buttons, so, you are using the professional version of the plugin.

    Furthermore, if you are using the version 5.0.42, then your copy of the plugin is a really outdated version of the plugin, because the version number of the last update of Professional version is: 5.0.390

    Your copy of the plugin is not update since at least August 2015.
