Error Something went wrong, please try again.

We are getting this error right after installing the Facebook for Woocommerce plugin:
Error Something went wrong, please try again. I have of course cleared cache, de- and reactivated plugin but can’t seem to find out why this wont work at all?
-
Hi @wwinarto – thanks for reaching out!
Can you do the following:
- Temporarily disable all caching plugins and ad blockers, and clear the cache
- Delete the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin
- Remove the Facebook for WooCommerce integration from your Business Tools
- Reinstall and reconnect the plugin
If the issue persists, please share your System Status report and any plugin-related errors from your debug.log using PasteBin.
Kind regards,
MarijaDear Marija,
just before I redo all – I have a multi-site setup. So plug-ins are installed on the Admin Network site and activated and de-activated on the individual sub-sites (DE and CH). On the DE-site, whole integration seems to work and when activating the pixel it says “the shop is under review”. I get this error on the CH-site only. Is this set-up the problem?
Thanks for your feedback!
Hi @wwinarto – thanks for following up!
The multisite setup may be causing issues, or it could be a problem with your Shop itself. Can you please share the screenshots of the error you are seeing, as well as System Status report and any plugin-related errors from your debug.log using PasteBin so that we can look into this further?
Kind regards,
MarijaHi Marija – this is super weird, I cannot attach a screenshot to the message, nor can I upload the downloaded report on this support thread?!
Hi @wwinarto – you should be able to upload an image (and add it here via an Imgur block):
You can also share link to a Google drive doc (or any other method you prefer). You can also paste the PasteBin URL here (as text or a link) once you have generated the System status report and debug.log.
Kind regards,
Marijadoes it work now?
Hi @wwinarto – thanks, we can see the files now!
While reviewing your site we noticed that it is connected to multiple Pixels:
And one of them isn’t properly configured, causing the following error to appear in the console:
Can you try the following:
- Temporarily disable all caching plugins and clear the cache
- Delete the connection from the WooCommerce > Status > Tools page, using the Facebook: Reset connection settings action
- Delete the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin
- Remove all extra Pixels from your Commerce Manager
- Remove the Facebook for WooCommerce integration from your Business Tools
- Reinstall and reconnect the plugin
If the issue persists, please enable Debugging via the plugins “Troubleshooting” settings and share any plugin related issue from your debug.log.
Kind regards,
MarijaI cannot find the section : Delete the connection from the WooCommerce > Status > Tools page, using the Facebook: Reset connection settings action
I deactivated the plugins, but if I delete them I have to do this on Admin level, and they will be also cone from my other page?
I had installed the wrong pixel before, but it has been deleted already. I dont know, why it is still showing in the window you shared?
Hi @wwinarto – thanks for following up!
You should be able to see the Facebook: Reset connection settings option once you have enabled the debug mode (as shown in my previous message). You can also remove the connection from the Facebook > Settings page:
Once you have delete the connection, you can proceed with the steps:
- Delete the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin
- Disable the Pixels you are not using from your Commerce Manager
- Remove the Facebook for WooCommerce integration from your Business Tools
- Reinstall and reconnect the plugin
The other Pixel still showing up is likely caused by the cache, so make sure to disable all caching plugins and clear the cache beforehand.
If the issue persists, please enable Debugging via the plugins “Troubleshooting” settings and share any plugin related issue from your debug.log.
Hello – I went through the above and still the same issue. Again, I am operating multi-sites.
for moefe.de there is a message “has sync issues” (see screenshot)https://drive.google.com/file/d/106a08oh3Koqdqj52O6tzJKnbvE1Qpe_S/view?usp=sharing – should I delete the catalogue on meta that I had created before?
for moefe.ch I still have the same error message https://drive.google.com/file/d/1EpUd9K2q3SWencEv1rkDnJyqJYt311S1/view?usp=sharing
Please help!
Hi @wwinarto – thanks for following up,
Can you enable debugging through the plugin, manually sync the products, and share the latest facebook_for_woocommerce log (located in WooCommerce > Status > Logs) for moefe.cf site?
Regarding the moefe.de, can you check if the currencies match on your site and Catalog? If they are the same, but you are still seeing the issue, please try manually removing the items, and then re-sync them through the plugin.
Kind regards,
MarijaI deleted the plugins once again, so i cannot find the any logs facebook_for_woocommerce in the moefe.ch site. Will redo in a bit.
Regarding the catalogue mismatch – does it make sense that I delete the catalogue in meta that I had created in the past? There was no direct shop integration, I just set-up the product catalogue in meta with CHF currency and added links to the shop-site, so I could tag products in the posts and direct them to the web-site. If I integrate the woocommerce shop into meta then I do not need the manually created catalogue anymore, right? I would still be able to tag products in meta posts, right? Then this could resolve the sync issues? moefe.de operates in EUR and moefe.ch in CHF
