Error: this page cannot load google maps correctly

Hi there, I am using V3.4 and basically I have connected my Google Maps API key fine and on the frontend of my site my maps do work fine like this one here: https://share.getcloudapp.com/kpumO8xJ however in the backend of the website under the post itself when you go to add a new post or edit an existing one you get this issue here: https://share.getcloudapp.com/rRuL5OZo

Basically the error is this page cannot load google maps correctly. I have checked a few things on my site.

1. I do have the correct Google API in place.
2. I do have an SSL cert active and working.
3. My server is not blocking anything.

Any ideas on this or have you seen this before? Would love to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

Hello James,

This error is usually related to the Google Maps API settings.

Most time, a Javascript error will indicate the exact issue with your Google Maps API key.

Do you know how to look for Javascript error in the browser’s console? If so, would you please do so and provide me with the error message if you see any?

Ok great thank you, so I think the error I see here on the console is this one: https://share.getcloudapp.com/d5uegBpQ as it seems repeated a few times as a javascript error. The error itself looks like this one here, is that helpful?

It seems that not all the required API Services are enabled for your Googe Maps API key ( it might be the Places API Service ).

Please see step 14 of this tutorial for the list of the required API Services that need to be enabled. You can see steps 13 – 18 to learn how to enable the services.
