I’m setting up Mailpoet on a new site, and while testing for error messages (on my widget form in the footer) I tried pressing the join button without putting in an email address. This gave me an obvious error, but when I then write an email address the text is red and I get the error “This value should be a valid email” underneath until I’ve written the whole email address.

So, I then try to translate this to Norwegian but can’t find the string anywhere. When I search this forum I find this: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/error-on-subscription-form-this-value-seems-to-be-invalid/ which says the error was a bug that was fixed in version 3.60.2. I run Premium version 4.5.0. Can you please look into it?

    Hi @monoloid,

This gave me an obvious error, but when I then write an email address the text is red and I get the error “This value should be a valid email” underneath until I’ve written the whole email address.

This is not an issue, but the expected behavior for the current implementation.

I can confirm you should be able to translate the string “This value should be a valid email” to Norwegian. You can search for it on Transifex and download the MO file with the translation by following these steps: https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/169-how-to-translate-the-plugin-to-your-language

I hope it helps! Let me know if you need any further help with that.

Transifex? I’m using Loco Translate, but the string is not to be found.

    Hey @monoloid,

Maybe the string is not searchable when using Loco Translate, but you should be able to find it by searching your MO file for the language you want.

That’s why I suggested translating it directly on Transifex and then downloading the file with the translation already done.
