Error Thown – Call to undefined function is_plugin_active

    Hi,

    I get the error thrown – call to undefined function is_plugin_active() on a contact form 7 page. This site is hosted on WP Engine.

    I tried your plugin on another site on another server and without contact form 7 and I did not see this error at all.

    Thank you. Installed and tested and the message went away. Now I get a different message but it is the same as the other turnstile plugin out there. That leads me to believe there must be something else going on with Contact Forms 7.

    I’m going to troubleshoot it on my end. Thanks again.

    Hi,

    I see, that’s strange. I’ve tested it quite a lot on my end with Contact Form 7 and it works fine.

    Are you getting this error on all your websites?

    I think it is just this site specifically. I just tried switching to SMTP and that isn’t working even though I know the credentials are correct yet it is working on another site on the same server.

    I’m looking forward to trying this plugin out.

    I see.

    Yeah, I think you will get that CF7 error if SMTP is not setup (so emails can’t be sent). It could also be caching related, try clearing your site cache etc and give it another try.
