    Hello!

I would like to clarify a doubt regarding an error I am having when trying to add an attribute term that already exists to a product.

Yes, in the printout some words are in Portuguese, but the important thing is the highlighted message.

    What happened in this printout:

    1. I tried to add an attribute that already exists to this product.
    2. The attribute was not linked
    3. This message appeared where it is highlighted.

I don’t know what to do… I have already deactivated all the plugins and left only WooCommerce and nothing helped.

I hope there is some suggestion… thanks in advance!

  • Hi @arthficio ,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I’m sorry you’re having trouble adding an existing attribute term to your WooCommerce product.

Was this attribute created using custom code or a plugin? Also, it looks like the new product editor beta is active—could you try temporarily disabling it and checking if the issue persists in the classic editor?

You can find more details on applying global attributes to products in this guide: Managing Product Taxonomies.

Since you’ve already tested by deactivating all plugins except WooCommerce, the next step would be switching to a default WordPress theme (like Twenty Twenty-Four) to see if the issue is theme-related.

Let us know what you find!
