    Hi,

I’m experiencing an issue while using Broadcast plugin in a WordPress Multisite installation. I use Divi template.

When I broadcast a page from the parent site to a child site, the following happens:

    • The process ends with the message: There has been a critical error on this website. Although, the page is cloned on the child site.
    • Because of this error, the broadcast link between the parent and the child post is not saved.

Interestingly, if I initiate the broadcast from the child site instead, the process completes correctly and the posts remain properly linked.

    Additional notes:

    • The issue occurs even without using the Divi Builder.
    • The cloning works, but the linking step seems to fail after the post is created.

Could you advise what might cause this behavior or what logs/settings I should check?

    Thank you for your help.

    Best regards.

The “critical error” message is a very generic message. To find the exact cause, have a look at your webserver’s error log for a “fatal error” or something similar.

Broadcasting from the planned child site to the planned parent site working could be because the plugins are not the same on both sites. WordPress only loads the plugin on the site that is being broadcasted from.

    Hi,

We believe the issue might be related to the language plugin. If it is activated on both sites, the error does not appear. Thanks.

Would it be possible to test the add-on plugin for Divi before purchasing the third-party pack?

    Thanks and best regards

I’m afraid I don’t to demos or trials, since I have been burned in the past, but if you e-mail me I can perhaps answer any questions you have in detail.
