CURL errors are usually associated with your website server. Kindly contact your website host for this issue. They might be able to resolve it.

Their information is that as I work with a shared server, this type of plugin consumes a lot of resources and is not available in my package.

Hi there,
Podcast player is not a resource heavy plugin, it should work comfortably with shared servers. The main issue is just fetching feed data from the anchor website using CURL (as you mentioned above, the error is FAILED TO CONNECT TO ANCHOR ). So your website is not even connecting to Anchor.
Hope this explanation helps while discussing again with your hosting company.

It is not functional on our shared server, due to requirements, components, which must be used, in which on the shared server there is no way to have any editing or alteration of them. You can use it only if it is on a dedicated server that you can edit the server the way you need it. That is why there is a failure in the current server of your site.
Each server and provider has its specifications.

Regarding heavy, it may be yes, but this is not even the biggest problem, but the ones I reported.
