    Getting error when trying to optimise image

    Error: Cannot save file in backup directory

    Optimized version of x file(s) couldn’t be updated.

    Please advise

    Hi,
    thanks for your message, sorry to hear about this issue.
    Could you please contact your hosting provider directly and explain them this problem? They should be able to easily help you.
    Did you change your hosting provider recently?
    It looks like the problem you’re facing is related to wrong ownership/file permissions for ShortPixel’s backup folder (and possibly other files as well).

    I would appreciate your follow up on this.
