• Hello,
    since the latest I have this error message and can´t login anymore as Administrator.
    I tried everything:

    Change rights to 777 of Cache Folder within Si Capture Folder, Changed Rights of Si Capture folder to 777.
    Still login errror. What am I to do?

    If nothing works, how can I deactivate?

  • The error is letting you know, that you need to change the folder/ files permission in your server for this plugin. If you don’t know how to do this can you speak to your host and share with them this issue.

    If you are locked out of login:
    FTP to your WordPress directory /wp-content/plugins/
    Delete this folder:
    si-captcha-for-wordpress
    This manually removes the plugin so you should be able to login again.

    Most servers will not need any such file settings adjustments
    If you are having trouble like you mentioned.. you can eliminate the need to make any file adjustments by changing this setting on the settings page:
    Enable PHP sessions
    Only enable this if you have CAPTCHA token errors. Enable this setting to use PHP sessions for the CAPTCHA. PHP Sessions must be supported by your web host or there may be session errors.
