Just to add, I updated to latest WordPress and latest Woo commerce and disabled all other plugins and still getting same error.
I used a clean install of woocommerce and wordpress on the same server and that worked.
On Stripe this is what the logs say – note something about binning in bold that is different…

Have you tried to change your active theme as well?
Maybe there is a conflict with the theme.

You are right. My theme has a stripe-php folder. Not sure why though. Anyway I downloaded the latest stripe-php from github and replaced it and now it’s working. This is excellent. Thanks so much
