    I updated my google analytics plugin on my WordPress site and now the site is completed shut done with the error

    “Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home/content/96/6501396/html/ferris_wheel/wp-content/plugins/simple-google-analytics/simple_google_analytics.php on line 126”

    GoDaddy, php 5, linux

    HELP: How do I get my site back up and running?

    You’ll need to access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting provider’s documentation for specifics on these), navigate to /wp-content/plugins/ and delete the whole /simple-google-analytics/ directory there.

    That will restore your site.

    Next, I recommend reporting the problem at https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/simple-google-analytics/ so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.
