I had evolve installed and active on my site. I decided to upgrade to evolve 3.6.1 and now any time I access the website it displays “internal server error” — below:

    Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator to inform of the time the error occurred and of anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

I had to change the website theme to be able to display it…

    How can I correct that?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi,

Internal server error is a generic message which the server displays when it’s encountering error but does not have a specific error message to display.

There are many possible reasons that can cause an internal server error.

You need to contact your web hosting company and ask them to check error log and tell you what is the cause of the issue.

At least some PHP error message that points to a certain file. This will help pinpoint the cause of the issue.

    Thank you.
