Error Uploading Media

    For two weeks I haven’t been able to upload to the media library.

    This is the error message.

    Error 20150117_truth.jpg An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.

    I have two other wp installations that work fine. They are on the same server.

    Hey there curbside,

    Hope you are having great week so far!

    Sometimes this happens because of some plugin.

    Did you try deactivate all of your plugins and use some of the default themes like Twenty Fifteen, then go and check if you are still getting the error?
    There is some security plugins that may alter this too.

    Another reason for this is if you have wrong owner and/or permissions set to your files.
    Compare the ones from the install with the problems to the one that are working normally.

    Thanks Ivan, it worked. Closed all plugins and it uploads find. We can close this one.
