Error using the plugin: This page isn’t working

Hi everyone, I have a big issue with this plugin, the website most of the time, especially when it is opened for the first time, just does not appear and shows the following error:

This page isn’t working
http://www.thetekkgroup.it redirected you too many times.
• Try clearing your cookies.
ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS

I have two versions on my website: Italian (the main one) and English. The issue appears when we try to load the English version http://www.thetekkgroup.it/en/. If we try to load the full path https://www.thetekkgroup.it the website works fine, but it doesn’t reach the translations anyway.

I’ve tried refreshing the permalinks, updating the Homepage in setting>reading and adding Really Simple SSL plugin as suggested in other posts with a similar issue, but none of these suggestions seems work.

If I disable the plugin the site will work again.

I already contacted the hosting provider and they said there is no problem on their side and the SSL certificate is working correctly.
