  • Hey @jamiedallaire,

Thank you for using Yoast Duplicate Post & reaching out.

I was able to check your screencast and see that there is a 500 error. Were you able to check your server error logs to see what the actual error is that occurred? Without that information, it’s hard to pinpoint was went wrong.

Apart from finding that, I also noticed you have 9 open updates ready to be installed on your site, we do recommend running the latest versions of all plugins, themes, as well as WordPress core.

    Hi Jeroen,

I found the logs and exported them for the last two days. I don’t really know what I’m looking for though. Here is the link: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/cki7imk10uib8wh/AAAvxB4zVy0dh04TZ8GEivbga?dl=0

Also, I don’t think it has to do with plugins that aren’t updated. I’m on Flywheels’ managed plugin system, so you just caught the website at a bad time. Plugins are updated weekly. This error has been happening for a while now. And it’s happening on a couple of websites, not just one.

I could send log in credentials if that would help?

    Hey @jamiedallaire,

I checked the dropbox URL, but the files are not really error logs but look more like usage logs.

If you are not able to find the relevant 500 error in your logs, I recommend trying to enable WP_DEBUG so you will see the error that happens visually on the site when you experience the 500, it should then also show the relevant fatal PHP error. You can read more about WordPress debugging here: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/

    Hi Jeroen,

I couldn’t figure it out and it wasn’t giving me an error on debug mode, so I just found another duplication plugin that works with these builds. It must have something to do with a conflict of your plugin and another plugin we are using on those two specific websites. But for now, and in the interest of time, I will attempt to use a similar plugin that works.
