Hello Alex,
Thank you for reaching out and for using the Automobile Hub theme.
The issue you’re encountering when saving changes in the Customizer may be caused by a conflict with a plugin. To identify the source of the issue, we recommend performing the following steps:
1. Temporarily deactivate all plugins on your website.
2. Test the Customizer to see if the issue persists.
3. If the issue is resolved, reactivate the plugins one by one, checking the Customizer each time to identify the conflicting plugin.
Additionally, please ensure that your WordPress version, the Automobile Hub theme, and your PHP version are all up-to-date.
If you continue to experience difficulties, feel free to provide more details or screenshots, and we’ll be happy to assist further.
Thank You.
Dear Themespride Team, I deactivated all plugins, error still showing. I do have screenshots in case you want me to send them. All WordPress/PHP Versions are uptodate. I also installed the theme again on my webserver to check and it’s the same error. Also the whole customizer side menu is kind of odd formatted (lots of spaces in between the links) – brgds, Alex
Hello Alex,
Thank you for the update. Could you please share screenshots of:
1. The error message in the Customizer.
2. The formatting issue with the Customizer side menu.
These will help us better understand the problem. Additionally, checking your server’s error logs might provide useful insights.
Looking forward to your response.
Thank You

Hello,
Thank you for sharing the screenshot. I have reviewed it and would like to inform you that the errors have been resolved in the latest update (version 8.8).If you are still experiencing issues, I recommend the following steps to identify and resolve the problem:
1. Add the settings one by one and publish them to identify where the issue occurs.
– Start by adding the email text, then publish and check if it works.
– Next, add the email address, publish, and verify.
– Continue this process for each setting.
2. This step-by-step approach will help pinpoint the specific setting causing the issue. Once identified, please let us know, and we will provide you with a proper solution or release an update if required.
If you need further assistance, feel free to reach out.
Thank You.
Seeing the same problem with theme version 9.1.
Deactivated all plugins. Same problem.
Fortunately, it appears that if I hit Publish twice the changes are saved, despite still getting the error.
Hello,
Thank you for the update. We understand the issue still persists in version 9.1.
We’re currently reviewing this further. In the meantime, please try switching to a default theme (like Twenty Twenty-Four), then switch back to Automobile Hub and recheck the Customizer.
Also, if possible, please check your browser console for any JavaScript errors and share screenshots or logs with us. This will help us identify the root cause faster.
We appreciate your patience and will keep you updated.
My current workaround is to close the customizer, open Additional CSS, make changes, Publish, wait a minute, Publish again, then close customizer.
That pretty much guarantees that the changes will persist.
Hello,
Thanks for sharing your workaround. We’ll review this to provide a permanent fix. Could you also share your browser console errors and confirm your theme version so we can pinpoint the issue?
Thank You.
Jeez, it’s been over 4 months!
In the meantime the client bailed and the development site has been taken offline. As much as I like to be helpful, I’m not going to go through the effort to restore the site to get those details for you.
Theme version was 9.1 as stated at the time of the report.
Good luck tracking it down.
