Error when saving permalinks

Hello, I have a new sub domain I added to a multisite network. However when I go to save the permalinks, I get the error below – godaddy says “As per the error it is the issue with the wordpress core files, request you to kindly fix those errors in order to resolve the issue”.

However I’m a complete beginner in this.

When I added the new site the only thing I did was add the site in wordpress, add the DNS settings, add the hosting site and godaddy helped change the permissions for me, but I think I may be missing a number of things?
