Error when saving SMTP settings

    I am getting an error that crashes the admin side of my website after saving IMAP and SMTP settings. If I mark the plugin as disabled, it is resolved. If I delete the folder and redownload, it works until I activate the plugin. Any ideas how to clear a cache or the reset the plugin?

    Hi @ryvalbiosciences,

    You can reset the plugin by deleting it along with all your settings.

    This can be done by following the steps below:

    1) Go to WP Mail SMTP > Settings and click on the Misc tab. When here, please check the box to Remove ALL WP Mail SMTP data upon plugin deletion. (https://i.imgur.com/9KIZSL2.png) and Save Settings.

    2) Deactivate and delete the WP Mail SMTP plugin.

    3) Reinstall and activate the plugin again. Please kindly bear in mind that you’ll have to reconnect your SMTP mailer again after this.

    I hope this resolves the issue. If it doesn’t, however, please share the error message you are getting. If you can share a screenshot as well, that’ll help.
