Error when sending an email

    When trying to send an email template preview, I receive the following error:
    Unable to send email: Directive ‘magic_quotes_gpc’ is deprecated in PHP 5.3 and greater.

    I received the same error in the log after scheduling a blog post:
    Error 2014-08-07 05:00:14 Unable to send email: Directive ‘magic_quotes_gpc’ is deprecated in PHP 5.3 and greater.
