probably in local you can’t send email because you haven’t an smtp server configured in your php.ini
If you use xaamp you can read this article

I have the same problem as the OP. However mine was working on 2 different sites but now not working on neither.
I have uninstalled the plugin and reinstalled a couple of times but no change.
Any suggestions

I have configured smtp but still getting the same error.
The error occurs if I execute do_action( ‘send_raq_mail’, $args );
Where is configured send_raq_mail?
I would like to debug to see the real error … I have nothing logged …

You were right.
It was a config error.
I installed WP Mail SMTP and now everything is ok.
