my website stoped working while updating jetpack last night
and still can’t update even on recovery mode

wp-content/plugins/jetpack/jetpack_vendor/automattic/jetpack-waf/rules/rules.php. error message: require(): Failed opening required ‘****/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/jetpack_vendor/automattic/jetpack-waf/src/../rules/allow-ip.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/alt/php74/usr/share/pear’)

Hi @sh8adat,

Please give the following steps a try:

1. Disable/deactivate the Jetpack plugin; see how to deactivate plugins when you are not able to access WP Admin.
2. Delete the jetpack/ directory in wp-content/plugins/ from your site.
3. Download the latest version of Jetpack from https://downloads.wp.xz.cn/plugin/jetpack.11.5.1.zip
4. Then, extract the archive inside the wp-content/plugins/ directory
5. Finally, enable/activate the Jetpack plugin

Hi all; I’ve had this problem repeatedly on my site for the last five or six Jetpack updates. I’ve had to manually reinstall the plugin multiple times. Is there a possible root cause for this I could be looking for?
