Do you experience the same while updating other plugins?
Actually there shouldn’t be any issue around the update as the process is exactly the same as with other free plugins coming from ww.wp.xz.cn
Non of my codes are running while the update process thus if you experience this, there might be some file permission issue on your site. You can discuss this with the support of your hosting.

I’m still having problems trying to update to 1.4 – getting the same error message: Update Failed: The update cannot be installed because we will be unable to copy some files. This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions.
I spoke to my hosting provider. They reset all the permissions and asked me to try again but still no joy – so they suggested I get back in touch with you. Appreciate any other ideas you can provide. I’m not experiencing the same problem with any other plugins.

Have you tried to download the new version in a zip and upload the unpacked files directly via FTP or SFTP?
