error when using optimize press with wordpress

I uploaded wordpress onto my server, following the instructions, and it functions, however when I add optimizepress, wordpress then produces an error and stops working.

I either get optimizepress onto the themes section where it should be, and then try to activate it and it produces an error, or does not work at all and wordpress does not work.

WordPress 3.1 and optimizepress v1.23 do not seem compactiable, when put together they just do not work.

Can someone tell me how to resolve this, as I know it a problem/bug in the wordpress.
