Hello! Thank you for the very useful plugin. It was working well until the newest update. Now, the same slug linking to the same piece of media that used to work returns with “Error while opening the book:
The requested module ‘./simebv-viewer.js’ does not provide an export named ‘_'” I’m not sure how to fix this. Thank you for your help.

EDIT: Sometimes, the book will load in incognito mode, sometimes not. Additionally, the error has updated itself to “Error: I couldn’t retrieve the book to display. Cookie check failed.” Still not sure how to get consistency.

Hi, I’m not able to recreate the errors you’re reporting, every time I visit your website the ebook loads correctly. These errors seem to be cache-related: do you still see them if you refresh the page without using the cache?

I encountered a similar error. After opening the page hundreds of times, suddenly today the ePub books stopped loading. This happened in Safari. However, Chrome, Firefox, Opera, etc., displayed the ePubs without any problem.

As Francesco correctly suggests, clearing the cache resolved the issue.

It’s true that such an error is frustrating for website visitors. Would it be possible for the plugin to detect the error and display a warning such as “Error loading the book, try clearing the cache,” or something similar?

I had to delete both the cache and cookies for the page to load properly. You definitely have the best ebook viewer for wordpress. Is there a way I can set the plugin to load the ebook without storing cookies or cache? These works are being shared with people like my grandma who aren’t very tech-literate. Thank you for your help!

I’m working on a new release that will hopefully prevent these issues in the future, I’ll try to publish it in the next few days.

Thank you again for continuing to improve the best ePub reader for WordPress. I’ll keep an eye on the translation platform in case there are any new strings to translate.

I published yesterday the new release. Given the recent 24-hour cooldown policy for plugin updates you should be able to view it and install it on your websites today.

That’s so awesome. Thank you! I really appreciate you continuing to support the plugin.

Updated to version 2.0.1. Works perfectly. Now I’ll have to load and refresh a page with the plugin hundreds of times to see how the caching works.
Great job, as always. Thanks for such an excellent plugin.
