error with amex card

    Hello, I’m facing an issue in sandbox mode with amex card. When I try de place an order I have this error : The address data passed to the 3D Secure provider was in an invalid format. Unsupported card type

    Any idea on how do solve this ?

    Hi @chris3872

    That error message is indicating that the Amex card type is not supported by the Braintree merchant account associated with your store currency.

    In Sandbox mode when creating a merchant account for the specified currency you can select which credit card brands it supports. Make sure you add AMEX to that list.
